Fish massage in Siem Reap

by John Einar Sandvand on August 23, 2009

Let hundreds of small fish have the party of their life on your feet! “Fish massage” is a popular and very fun activity at the night market in Siem Reap in Cambodia.  Here is a small taste:

I promise: If you are ticklish, you are in for a good laugh as the fish starts eating the dead skin on your feet. It feels weird and doing together with other people makes it an entertaining experience well worth the price of 3 dollars. It was almost a little scary at first, but turned out to be very nice. And a lot of fun with visitors laughing together.

“Fish massage” is offered all over the night market in Siem Reap. As the name indicates, the market is open only in the evenings and it is actually a nice place to go for some shopping.
